Math Problems

Hi all!! Wish you a very happy n fulfilling new year.

And what better way to start off than proposing a couple of Math problems to you young minds? :P
I came across these problems a few days ago, and I'd urge u ppl to try them out n post the answers.

1. Find the no. of integral points bounded by |x+y|=17, the x-axis and the y-axis. (By integral points, we mean (x,y), s.t. x,y are integers.)

2. Find the number of numbers between 10^9 and 10^10, s.t. the product of their digits is 4.
Answers would be posted in a week.

  2. No. 1st answer should be : 1 + (17x4) + (4x0.5x16x16) = 1 + 68 + 512 = 581.
